I am a masters level licensed professional clinical counselor, nationally board certified art therapist, and licensed professional art therapist. I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults in individual and group settings. I believe I am most effective when meeting each individual where they are at the current time, whether that be typical adolescent developmental growth, teenage to young adult navigation of life's expectations, or adult contemplation. I use complimentary therapy approaches in helping individuals utilize their strengths to manage obstacles in their life. I am currently taking new clients.
I am a Board Certified Art Therapist with a master's level training. When appropriate I engage with the individual in a creative process which lends a voice when verbal language may be difficult. Often times the creative process is a more comfortable way to express one's emotions and can help foster a stronger, more expressive therapeutic relationship.
I am currently available for individual and group therapy. I am happy to see individuals from 6 to 106 (and beyond). My focus recently has been with adolescents and teens, finding that their voice often goes unheard.
