I am a psychotherapist and licensed clinical social worker providing individual psychotherapy for adolescents and adults. My clinical experience has led me to working with people of many different walks of life in a wide variety of settings, including schools, court programs, residential treatment, programs for those struggling with homelessness, the nonprofit sector, and private practice.
My approach is psychoeducational, nonjudgmental, collaborative, and holistic. We will work together to create a therapy experience that is tailored to your needs. We will vent and process, yes, but we will also pursue change.
We will develop insight into patterns in your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors; learn and practice skills to manage the problems in your life; align your actions and circumstances to your core values; build the resilience to maintain positive self-regard through the ups and downs; and learn to accept what cannot be changed so we can focus on what can!
