For many of us the hardest part about doing therapy is figuring out where to begin. The good news is that you don't have to know, all you have to do is start. One thing I've noticed in the time I've been doing this is that all roads seem to lead to the same place, so it doesn't matter where you start because eventually you will get wherever you need to go.
What this means is that I let you lead the sessions. I do this because while I may be the expert on what I do, you are the expert on you. So it makes sense for me to let you tell me about what it's like to be you.
I will make observations and connections along the way, but I will always check them out with you first. I am interested in learning what things are like from your perspective, not trying to get you to see them from mine. This is your time, use it how you want!
