We all have sources of shame- and strengths and insight within us to work through them. I work in collaboration with my clients to identify and illuminate these areas. "Seeing is freeing." I've been a therapist since 2008 and the joy, wonder, and curiosity hasn't warn off in guiding clients toward their goals, and witnessing the changes. I work in areas of depression/anxiety, addictions, trauma (including religion and culturally-based), gay men's challenges, among other areas. I work with my clients on skill-building, employing DBT, CBT, ACT- all mindfulness-based. I work with individuals and couples. I'm licensed in OR and WA.
While I work with a wide range of clients and issues, I have extensive experience treating anxiety/mood disorders, relationship counseling including polyamorous, sex/sexuality, religious and culturally-based trauma. I work extensively with LGBTQ+ community, often exploring spiritual-religious-sexuality conflicts. I see clients in person and via telehealth.
