My specialty is working with men (adolescent & adult) facing identity issues, life transitions, codependence, relationship struggles, anxiety, depression, and OCD (helping clients manage intrusive thoughts and compulsions through CBT and ERP). My approach is direct, coaching-like, yet explores underlying therapeutic themes driving struggles. I also enjoy working with couples and families seeking a Biblical focus for relational growth, addressing challenges in communication, connection, and commitment.
I have a Level 1 certification in Brainspotting. I utilize the trauma-informed Developmental Model of Immaturity, and I take a non-judgmental, yet directive approach to therapy. With OCD clients I use CBT & ERP. My desire is to allow my clients to speak freely and be emotionally vulnerable while providing guidance, discernment, and hope.
