It is my belief that as many paths to wholeness exist as were, are, or will be, people on this planet. Walking our individual paths to create and discover meaning is a universal goal. And sometimes life presents us with vexing challenges just when we are determined to accomplish personally and or collectively valuable goals. Or our growth is impeded by painful events that happen to us during the course of living. The path & or goal becomes unclear. And so, my role in the therapeutic process is akin to a guide. Recommending, encouraging, questioning, witnessing you seek to find the best possible expression of your unique wholeness.
I want to assist you in the process of getting further into life. Often times this process involves a revaluation of the relationship between the rational and irrational aspects of mind and the needs of the Self and the other. Making the unconscious conscious requires attunenment to what is pressing to be felt and thought now in the present moment.
My previous work experience includes teaching at a local community college. The most valuable lesson I learned from that time was that the teacher must also be the student. The most valuable lesson I have learned from my study and practice of depth psychology is that real relationship is the foundation for real change in life & therapy.
