I am Jason Czernich, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with more than 11 years of experience in the mental health and human services field. My approach is person-centered, trauma-informed, and focuses on creating a safe, non-judgmental space for individuals to explore their challenges and work toward meaningful change. I specialize in helping adults and seniors navigate depression, anxiety, grief, overspending, suicidality, interpersonal conflict, existential crises, and other life difficulties.
I use a variety of evidence-based treatment methods, including mindfulness-based practices, positive psychology, psychodynamic therapy, motivational interviewing, meditation, and guided imagery. These approaches allow me to tailor my work to each individual, helping them understand, manage, and resolve the symptoms they are experiencing.
My work is also grounded in strengths-based therapy (SBT), which emphasizes building a trusting relationship and focusing on the inherent strengths that each client possesses. I value creating a therapeutic relationship founded on respect, patience, humor, and authenticity. Together, we will develop an individualized treatment plan designed to leverage you.
