Sometimes when life feels overwhelming, or our relationships aren't working, or we're struggling to meet all of life's demands, we might start feeling like something is wrong with us. My clients tend to discover that they are not broken but adaptive. I believe that it is important for people to be heard and understood, and appreciate the "why" behind their feelings and actions.
I can help clients struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma and relationship problems. I am EMDR certified and PCIT (Parent-Child Interaction Therapy) certified to help children, families and adults.
My counseling approach focuses on building relationships with clients by listening and valuing them. I will work hard to truly hear you and make you comfortable with the therapeutic process. My hope is that when we are done working together you will have a greater appreciation for yourself and feel better equipped to address the difficulties you face.
