Living in a complex world can become overwhelming. Stressful emotions are often too much to handle without goal-directed intervention. Counseling is an emotional process where healing occurs by releasing identified baggage, and managing current circumstances with a better relationship to self and others. Choosing a counselor you can relate to is key. The counseling process works reliably when its directed toward your goals. I help adult individuals through stress, anger, anxiety, trauma & mood changes. Most of my counseling is done using telehealth.
Once your goals are established, we will make gradual changes through evidence based treatment modalities. Through practice, and some trial and error, improvement is possible. My practice offers services that integrate CBT, mindfulness, EMDR, and Bible-based approaches per individual needs to support mental stress in a complex world.
