My fundamental belief is that we are created from community for community. We long for a place of safety where we can fully share ourselves with others. As a counselor, I try to provide a safe place for clients who are going through difficult times by offering options for healing and growth.
I use a variety of modalities but primarily use CBT as a starting point. I blend this traditional approach with ACT and Narrative Therapy to meet clients wherever they are on their journey. I also use scripture, prayer, and other spiritual practices in session for those who are seeking spiritual guidance.
I love hearing people’s stories and try my best to meet them at the critical moment in time when they need help. I would love to listen with a non-judgmental ear and get to know you better.
