Hello, I’m Jason Adams, the founder of New Roads Therapy and a Licensed Professional Counselor & Mental Health Service Provider (LPC-MHSP Tn License-2860) with over 18 years of experience. I have had the honor of supporting many individuals (ages 8 or 9 to close to 80), couples (all stages and types of relationships), and families throughout some of the most devastating times of their lives. It has been, and is, a privilege to spend time with people in such vulnerable and fragile places. My life has been gifted with such inspiration to be able spend time with such courage and resilience.
As a therapist, I integrate various therapeutic modalities including Emotional Focused Therapy for individuals and couples, Mindfulness-Based CBT, DBT, ACT, and somatic modalities such as somatic experiencing, etc. I have done an extensive amount of work with my own in life, as well, which brings an extensive amount of personal experience to the table.
My passion for helping others drives everything I do in life. Our suffering holds immense possibility for transformation and I have had the fortune of having powerful and wise mentors on my own healing journey. I would be honored to walk beside you as you work to step more fully into your life.

Managing depression and isolation
I aim to create a group where people can come together, offer support for one another, learn from one another and simply be there for one another. In a more and more isolated world, group therapy offers a potential avenue for minimizing some of the lonliness and isolation many people struggle with in today's world. The group will focus on managing and navigating depression as well.
