I incorporate the arts, social justice, inclusivity and sex-positivity and utilize an eclectic approach of Multicultural, Feminist, Existential, Relational, DBT, IFS and EMDR therapy that can help foster change, awareness, acceptance and growth.
I have experience working with cancer patients and caregivers, elderly adults, women, BIPOC, LGBTQ, first generation, immigrant or diaspora communities in regards to chronic pain, illness, health, trauma, loss, grief, loneliness, life transitions, relationships, anxiety, depression, explorations of race, culture, sexual orientation and gender identity.
I take a collaborative, affirming and trauma informed approach and welcome your feedback. I try to model safety, patience, humor and authenticity. I understand how difficult support seeking can be and try to support and validate clients through any shame or stigma. I enjoy when culture, art, media and current events enter the virtual room.
