Therapy then is essentially a cure through love - Frued. I specialize in the neurodivergent and often the first-timers. I especially enjoy working with kids and young adults on the spectrum, successful women who may have ADHD, and those who have never tried therapy before but think maybe it might be for them and are coming in with no pre-conceived notions of what therapy has to be. I am also completing my doctorate in Sport and Performance Psychology and work with high performers, especially those who are neurodivergent.
I offer therapy through a people-focused lens, you are your own expert! I often operate in the outdoors and complete therapy during walking or some other type of activity. I am certified in equine (horse) assisted learning and in animal therapy. I am big on meeting people where they are at, mentally and physically!
Because I did not grow up in a typical American household I often view things in a very different manner and approach people and difficulties in a different way, I am curious and open, when we are in therapy sessions you are both the client and teacher!
