A little about me - I am a Resident in Counseling at Thriveworks Counseling & Psychiatry Midlothian. I have experience working with children and adults in both the behavioral and the mental health field. I am experienced in working with substance abuse and mood disorders (depression, anxiety, etc.)
My approach to treatment is Person-Centered with the goal of promoting self-empowerment, increasing self-awareness and self-acceptance. I also utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to address issues related to thought processes and behaviors.
I believe that therapy is not a one-size-fits-all approach as we all experience life in our own unique way. Whether you are new to therapy or have had the chance of working with another professional in the past, my goal is to provide you with a safe and non-judgmental space for you to express yourself and work through life’s challenges at your own pace.
