As a counselor, I aim at creating a non-judgmental safe space for all my clients by showing compassion, empathy, and respect by using a person-centered feminist approach to counseling. I believe every individual is the expert of their own lives and believe that counseling is a collaboration between the client and counselor. I believe by employing the above techniques and collaborating with individuals, couples, groups, and families, clients can achieve their most significant potential while maintaining a healthy, happy lifestyle!
I work with adolescents and adults to address symptoms related to anxiety, depression, stress, grief, life transitions/adjustments, self-esteem, body positivity, sex positivity, trauma, multiculturalism, sexuality and gender-related exploration, and mood disorders. I have experience using CBT and DBT.
Clients coming to Grow Well Cleveland for services will receive affirmative, culturally-competent counseling. LGBTQ+ individuals, persons of color, and many other marginalized by society are welcome in our practice and I am ready to welcome you into my office and work with you.
