I know it's been really tough lately. You wouldn't be here if it hasn't been, right? The good news is that you're searching and reaching out for help. I'm proud of you for being here. I'm "Jay" and I help clients who are struggling with issues such as anxiety, depression, addictions, identity difficulties, life adjustments, family issues, relationship challenges, faith crises, and more. My clients dig deep to find their core negative thoughts, identify values they want to live by, and set goals for a better mindset and livelihood.
I use evidenced-based therapy techniques from a variety of modalities such as CBT, DBT, MI, ACT, etc. In general, I help clients identify thought/ behavioral patterns that are causing stress or shame in their lives. From there, we work to restructure and come up with more realistic thoughts and healthier actions.
If you've had a bad experience with counseling in the past, or if this is your first time thinking about it, I encourage you to give it a try. It truly can make a difference in your life and your relationships.
