About
I am a licensed professional counselor with a background in both sport psychology and clinical mental health. My degree and experience allows me to work with a wide range of ages and diagnoses. I blend my sport psychology and clinical mental health expertise to provide mental skills training to individual athletes, teams, and coaches, while also treating any co-existing mental health issues that my clients may be facing. In viewing each person as unique, I work to provide an individualized therapeutic approach centered on authenticity, acceptance, and empowerment. I am here to support you on a journey of growth.
My work involves topics such as managing performance anxiety, regulating emotions, focus enhancement, effective communication, improving goal setting, and increasing motivation. I also work with adolescents and adults experiencing depression, anxiety, emotional dysregulation, PTSD, relationship-building challenges, and difficult life transitions.
I believe that building effective rapport is paramount and I utilize a warm approach that is collaborative and strengths-based to help my clients reach their goals. I am passionate about supporting my clients to achieve optimal well-being within their life. If you are ready to take a step forward and think I may be a good fit for you, please contact me.
