My approach draws from Internal Family Systems, Narrative Therapy, and Psychodynamic theory. I also bring a strong mind–body perspective to my work. As a former massage therapist, I understand how stress and trauma live not just in the mind but in the body. As a meditator, I believe there is no substitute for learning about ourselves in the here and now.
Before becoming a therapist, I trained as a screenwriter at one of the world’s top film schools; storytelling continues to deeply inform my work. Each of us tells a story about who we are — those stories have the power to help or to hinder our progress.
