I’m a clinician with a background in social work and experience working as a Peer Recovery Specialist. I’m especially passionate about supporting individuals who are navigating substance use and the unique challenges that can come with LGBTQ+ identity and life experiences. My approach is straightforward, supportive, and nonjudgmental, and I believe in meeting people where they are while focusing on their strengths. My goal is to create a space where clients feel comfortable being themselves and supported as they work toward recovery, stability, and a life that feels authentic and meaningful.
I am currently a supervisee in social work having graduated with a MSW in 2025. I entered this field of helping professions in 2021 after experiencing the benefits of counseling myself and obtaining a peer recovery specialist certification. My experience as a queer person in long term recovery enables me to empathise with clients on shared experiences.
