The most important parts of mental wellness are the ability to increase one’s self-awareness and broaden one’s perspective. As your counselor, I will provide a safe and judgment free environment for you to gain a better understanding of whatever issues you are dealing with as an individual, couple, or in any other types of romantic relationships. The main goal of most clients is "to feel better," and I am here to help you make that goal more specific so that you can grow in the areas most important to you. I also strive to destigmatize counseling for men, Black / African-Americans, and other minority groups.
I specialize in couples/relationship therapy and am a Certified Sex Therapist through the Modern Sex Therapy Institutes. We will separate you from the problem so that we can solve the problem together. I won't just pull you from where you are, I will work through it with you and provide skills to navigate whatever you encounter in the future.
As a relationship counselor I will facilitate a deeper level of communication between clients so that you can be not only heard, but also understood by your partner(s) or loved ones. As a sex therapist we can address issues like discrepancy in desire, sexual pain, sexual intimacy, dealing with infidelity, and other sex-based issues.
