I typically use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, which combines traditional CBT techniques with Buddhist-inspired mindfulness practices. This changes your relationship to your inner world and give you more control over your actions, leading to more life satisfaction. Clients report gaining an ability to "make sense" of their internal experiences, allowing them greater control of their lives.
