Jaqui R Otto
As a parent and a licensed psychologist specializing in the assessment and treatment of children and adolescents with learning, behavioral, social, and emotional challenges, I understand how difficult it is to know where to turn when you observe your child struggling. My goal is to provide a comprehensive psychological or neuropsychological evaluation that provides a specific plan for intervention and recommendations that are research-based and realistic to accomplish. I believe that parents must understand not only their child's challenges but know their child's strengths and how to effectively lean on those strengths to assist with challenges.
A comprehensive and individualized psychological evaluation at my office includes a parent interview, direct evaluation of the child, school observation (if necessary), gathering information from teachers or other key adults (as authorized by parents), and a full report presented to ensure your understanding in a face-to-face feedback session.
Consultation with your child's teachers or intervention team and ongoing parent consultation, assistance with behavioral, social, and emotional challenges within the home, counseling services, and social skills instruction are also available.
