About
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 30 years of professional experience providing psychotherapy services. I provide my clients with a unique approach helping them to identify and achieve specific therapy goals in a confidential, empathetic, and trusting atmosphere I help individuals understand their current circumstances in order to make changes that will have lasting positive effects. I use an Insight approach, where I help, a better understanding of my patients that leads to “individualized solutions”. My treatment approach is short-term, problem-oriented therapy sustained by my psychoanalytic background.
I use a combination of cognitive-behavioral, psycho-educational, and humanistic modalities, as well as evidence-based techniques. I strive to create a balance within my therapeutic approach based on my client’s particular needs and preferences.
