Life can be chaotic and challenging. There are times when we hit roadblocks and detours in the road and need someone to come alongside for support. I am a bilingual (English/Japanese) licensed mental health counselor and have over 10 years of experience helping people unpack old unwanted patterns while building a more empowered mind. I had the privilege to work extensively with active duty Marines and Sailors and their family members in the last six years. Now I am ready to work with clients utilizing the knowledge and skills I acquired through serving people who served our country facing life and various emotional challenges.

I am most passionate to serve clients with a wide variety of mental health challenges who are "lost", "stuck", or simply want someone to listen to their issues and understand. While all of my post-secondary education and most of my life have been in the US, I was born and raised in Japan, lived in China for 2 years, and worked in a multi-cultural global corporation for many years, all of which equipped me to work with culturally and age diverse clients.

Your life journey as a gay person is full of unique joys and challenges. Most of us never learned how to be gay (and happy). I get it. But know this: you can create the life you want. You can find your chosen family, heal the past, overcome shame find your passion and learn to finally love yourself at any age. And you don't have to trek up this mountain alone. As a gay counselor, my passion is helping fellow gay people develop their own toolkits to overcome anxiety, heal and thrive.
