Welcome! As a Licensed Marriage and Family therapist, I am passionate and dedicated to helping my clients overcome personal difficulties, and experiencing hope and change. Therapy works in a powerful way when the therapist and the client work together in a safe place to help you heal. My style of counseling is client’s strength based, time effective and solution focused. My clients walk away from my office feeling lighter, freer, and hopeful. They feel excited to live their lives again.
In the counseling session, you will explore yourself, relieve your pain by gaining insights and new skills as well as experience transformations so that you regain control of yourself and lead the well-balanced lives. I integrate a variety of therapeutic approaches to meet each client’s unique needs and goals.
Although I was born and raised in Japan, I left Japan to attend college in the US and have pretty much stayed here ever since! I am bilingual and can provide therapy in English and Japanese. Because of my personal experiences, I can relate and am a strong mental health advocate for stress surrounding immigration/culture shock/life transition issues.
