I honor this trust and the individual needs that each person brings to counseling. My practice is focused on assisting those who have met a challenge in life such as the loss of a loved one, chronic or acute illness, relationship conflict, job stress or traumatic events. Although these may be common experiences that many of us share they can also cause symptoms of depression, anxiety, anger or PTSD if lived in isolation.
I offer an on-going holistic assessment of individual strengths, needs and priorities as a lens to offer direction. I listen carefully and work to collaborate using client-centered problem-solving and goal-setting, trusting that the solutions we look for are found within our individual strengths.
I bring over 35 years experience managing and providing a full range of addictions/mental health services for high-risk families and individuals within urban and rural Oregon including extensive experience working with adoptive families and coordinating care with Child-Welfare, Juvenile Justice, law enforcement, schools and Developmental Disability Services.
