As a counselor, I am willing work with people, wherever they are. Counseling is a place where burdens can be shared, and clients can sort out their past and present, along with strengths and weaknesses, and as a result, gain guidance for their future. People have different problems depending on their individual situation, developmental stage, and age. Each person's solution is different, but everyone can improve, and most want to become the best they can be.
I have been trained in cognitive therapy, which means helping people become aware of their thinking patterns and beliefs, leading us to the origin of our thoughts and actions. If we can identify, faulty beliefs and thinking errors and correct those, behavior can be changed. Cognitive therapy helps in coping with depression, anxiety, grief, and addiction.
