I am a Latina Therapist that specializes in Anxiety/Mood, Eating disorders, & Trauma related disorders, who is culturally sensitive and provides compassionate, holistic and trauma-informed care. Part of my style in providing therapeutic care, is utilizing an integrative and holistic approach as I believe there is "no one size fits all." I believe that the you are the expert, so I do my best to listen to what your needs are and I do my best to know what will help accomplish your goals. I will guide you in learning new tools to better manage outside.
I am a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS), Certified Dialectical behavior Therapist (C-DBT), Certified Clinical Trauma Professional-II (CCTP-II). Much of my experience consists of working with marginalized voices, of all socio-economic backgrounds, professions, backgrounds and ethnicities.
I believe that therapeutic connection is one of the most important things to have within therapy as you will be your most vulnerable self. I try to make the space as safe as possible.
