About
We all struggle at times in life with various challenges in relationships, life transitions and events which stop us in our tracks. Having a safe place to process these struggles is what I aim to provide my clients. It takes great courage to engage in therapy and I hope to build on that strength to help each individual reach their full potential. With over 20 years of social work experience in a variety of settings, I have learned to meet clients where they are at through empathic listening and active engagement. You determine your goals and I give you the tools to obtain them.
I believe the foundation of counseling is established in the therapeutic relationship. My goal is to provide you with a safe, supportive and nonjudgemental environment to process life's challenges and restore a sense of hope for the future. I utilize solution focused and strength based perspectives including cognitive behavioral and mindfulness techniques.
