About
There are universal experiences that can cause us to question everything we have learned about who we are within ourselves and in connection to others. It’s in these times it can be difficult to meet life on life’s terms; when looking on the bright side, persistence and grit no longer get us through the day. This has been especially true this past couple of years. The most profound change being our ability to be connected to each other and having shared experiences to look forward to. Connection is a foundational requirement for wellbeing and the events in these last few years have impacted every part of our lives.
I hold a place of understanding, deep compassion, and unconditional positive regard for the individuals, couples, and families I work with. Whether life seems to be moving too fast or everything has become too quiet and you feel stuck, counseling can bring awareness, insight, and resolution to the challenges you are facing.
Maya Angelou said, "If you must look back, do so forgivingly, If you must look forward, do so prayerfully. However, the wisest thing you can do is to be present in the present. Gratefully." This is how I view our work together. It's about removing the barriers to living a full life of joy, peace, and love no matter what obstacles we have to overcome.
