I will work with you in the present to become aware of attitudes and behaviors that are self defeating leading you to feel distressed in some way or another in your life, whether it’s depression, anxiety, relationship issues, an eating disorder, addictions or some other life problem. When necessary we look at the circumstances in your childhood and past that lead you to create some of these attitudes and behaviors. After clearing these out, we will use your creativity and strength to create new attitudes and behaviors that are more satisfying and enlivening helping create the life you desire.
In an environment of utmost care and support with an attitude of optimism as the background, we are always working at your pace and leaning into the future. You will feel heard and affirmed at your deepest level. My style is collaborative, empathic and non-judgemental.
I am a seasoned clinician, I have specialized training in Gestalt Therapy, couples, addictions,eating disorders, grief and loss, trauma, smoking cessation and EFT. I also enjoy working with teenagers and young adults.
