I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I obtained my undergraduate degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan-Flint & a master’s degree in social work from Wayne State University, with a Major in Family & Couples concerns. I've had the privilege of providing services to my clients & community for over 20 years. Fluent in Arabic, Chaldean, and English, I'm able to successfully use my language skills to provide care and a comfortable environment to clients who prefer professional services in their native language.
I am a Christian counselor & apply basic Christian values. I also, know the importance of meeting clients where they are & respect everyone’s spiritual journey, no matter what their faith. I have several years of experience in supervising Limited License Social Workers looking to earn hours and prepare for the Michigan licensing exam.
My career is dedicated to the support and growth of a diverse population. I recognize that building a strong rapport with clients, creating a safe environment, and making accurate assessments of their needs whether mental/emotional, spiritual, or physical is key to improving client outcomes and helping clients achieve their therapeutic goals.
