Many individuals, adults, children and teens included, are affected by stress, trauma, unexpected life events and major life transitions or change. My work is dedicated toward seeing individuals succeed in life and achieve their God-given dreams, purpose and calling, by coming alongside individuals, couples and families to assist them to successfully navigate through life's challenges. I hope very much to help bring order and a sense of peace into chaos, in the situations individuals may be facing, that will help them heal, or to make changes or decisions with greater clarity and assuredness of better results.
I work with individuals to help them resolve issues that hold them back from living a free and more fulfilling life. I take an integrative approach that takes the best from different counseling approaches. I use CBT, EMDR and play therapy. I am a registered play therapist, a certified AutPlay therapist and trained in Gottman couples therapy.
I believe in the power of a therapeutic relationship based on trust and integrity to produce the positive, lasting change you, the client, would want to have. I view counseling as a collaborative process between the counselor and client, and you are offered a safe, non-judgmental place to heal, recover and take steps toward positive change and growth.
