Hello! My name is Janet Solomon, and I am a licensed certified social worker ( LCSW). I have been in the mental health field for the past 25 years and I love what I do, helping others to live the best life to the fullest capacity. I work with folks 18 years and up. I see everyone as a human being first and the unique differences that make us who we are.
I most frequently use Person-Centered Approach as well as Insight Oriented Therapy as both helping modalities that assist myself and the client to engage in a shared understanding of their reality and allow us to work together to process and explore what needs are identified and the most realistic and meaningful way to begin to work towards positive change.
I provide a safe, warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment when working with folks. I take time to get to know folks by listening first to understand folks and have a true picture of who they are and the difficulties they may be experiencing. This helps to build a trusting and successful working relationship with each other.
