About
Janet's style is warm, interactive and personable. She has had years of experience in providing mental health services to employees of Georgia Tech, Emory University and Delta Air Lines helping them with any mental health concern that could be affecting their job performance. Janet then spent ten years as developing and delivering training to mental health professionals around the world while continuing to work with corporate employee clients. Janet’s focus is now on working with couples on relationship repair and growth using emotionally focused therapy (EFT).
Janet specializes in helping couples work through life challenges that trigger strong emotional responses that are often uncomfortable and confusing. She will provide a safe space and assist you with identifying and changing patterns of behavior that are causing emotional distancing within your relationship.
Your relationship is so important. If you are struggling, it’s likely more than an issue of needing better communication skills. There are probably one or more negative cycles spinning out of control between you that can lead to feelings of hopelessness and despair. Thirty years of research shows EFT promotes lasting positive change in over 90% of couples.
