About
Learning to grieve losses and adapt to life changes are challenges we will all face. A major loss such as the death of a loved one or divorce can be devastating. How do I learn to live with a new normal? The grief process is powerful, exhausting and confusing. Each person’s journey is different. Working with a skilled, compassionate grief therapist in a safe, nurturing environment can provide critical support and guidance. My goal is to help you find light and hope during a dark time and to teach new coping skills to allow for healing. Reaching out is the hardest part. I’d love to talk to you about your unique situation and needs.
I have been a clinician for 28 years with extensive experience working with clients struggling with grief, loss and trauma.I offer Trauma Informed individualized treatment using a holistic approach utilizing client centered, evidenced based practices to promote growth and healthy adaptation to change. Life’s mountains can only be climbed “One Step at a Time”
For several years I have had the privilege of working with a hospice team which has enriched my life and taught me so much about the human spirit. We are not meant to go through hard times alone. I have facilitated a Grief Support Group for many years and witnessed people rebuild lives after unimaginable hardships. Resiliency is learned in hard times.
