Janet M Roberts's Groups

Overcoming Social Shyness

This group focuses on gaining the confidence and skills to initiate and maintain friendships. Many individuals feel shy or self-conscious in social situations and have little experience meeting people in new settings. This group provides a supportive atmosphere for enhancing social skills and assisting group members as they learn and practice new ways of interacting in social situations. Group members will receive some initial instruction, engage in structured activities, and enjoy increasing opportunities for informal interaction and practice within and outside of the group setting. This is a 6-week group.
