Veterinary and animal welfare professionals, those facing pet loss, neurodivergent women, and academics are the folks I specialize in providing therapy for. Burnout, stress/anxiety, moral distress, compassion fatigue, trauma, and disenfranchised grief are my main areas of expertise. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, evidence-based, and mindful of the larger societal systems we’re in. I prioritize building safety and trust. I’m gentle, direct, and see each client as a unique person. I’m here to listen and help, without judgment, at your pace, and with respect and care for what matters most to you.

As a therapist with 20+ years experience and a former tenured social work professor and mental health researcher, I use evidence-based practices such as ACT Therapy and Cognitive Processing Therapy, and somatic tools for nervous system capacity/regulation. I also draw on my veterinary social work experience to support those who love and work with animals.
