I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, 35 years of experience helping individuals break free from symptoms of PTSD; trauma; sexual assault; physical, emotional abuse; childhood trauma; domestic violence; depression; anxiety; and substance abuse. We work together in a uniquely effective way assisting you to become free from these mental health symptoms and truly live a life worth living! I provide Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT); Parts Work (IFS), Brain Spotting therapy and Memory Reconsolidating Re-processing. I am a Certified EMDR Therapist and EMDRIA approved Consultant. I also provide Consultation to EMDR therapists.
Integrative and functional approach to therapy is a balance of positive psychology while healing the past and moving forward. Our memories are not fixed - they are dynamic, changeable via the brain's ability for neuroplasticity. Ultimately that is what all learning is-our brains natural ability to change and heal! Our brain knows exactly how to do this!
I provide treatment for PTSD, trauma and all types of psychological distress in a safe, confidential, and compassionate setting either in Office or remotely. Everyone’s brain can do this, and it is not hard work for you reach your goals…it is allowing yourself to heal by having compassion and kindness in the form of self-care that brings this change!

I provide ongoing Group and Individual Consultation for EMDR trained Therapist(s) working toward obtaining their EMDR Certified and Consultant Certification. Group and individual consultation may be virtual and/or in person. I am an Approved EMDR Consultant certified by EMDRIA.org to provide these services. I love the opportunity to encourage and guide my therapist consultee's. EMDR as a specific treatment protocol for PTSD and trauma can be learned but, it takes time and guidance to truly develop these skills successfully. My interests in teaching, coaching and training makes working as EMDR Consultant one of my passions.
