We all face challenges in life and sometimes we just need a little extra support. My goal as a counselor is to provide that support and collaborate with you to develop the necessary skills to manage those challenges. I primarily work with children, adolescents, and young adults struggling with social, emotional, and behavioral issues. I aim to create a safe, comfortable, and accepting atmosphere for all of my clients.
Every individual is unique and I utilize a person-centered approach to individualize each client's experience. I enjoy incorporating my clients' natural skills and interests in sessions in addition to techniques from CBT, DBT, and mindfulness. I believe this is an effective way to develop skills that can be utilized in daily life.
