Janell is a warm, silly and compassionate therapist. Her experience includes mood disorders, ADHD, anxiety, depression, grief, social health, behavioral issues, parent behavioral training, generational, systemic trauma and family dynamics. She also specializes in any psychosomatic presentation of distress or trauma. Janell delivers a well-rounded treatment plan pulling from various theories, including Person (child) centered therapy, CBT, DBT and play therapy, including transition adjustment, family dynamics and strength-based therapy. It is a collaborative approach for individuals and families working towards growth and healing.
Janell has worked with individual, children and families for 15+ years in the health and wellness field. With a background in exercise science as a strength and mobility coach, she specializes in a psychosomatic symptoms associated with distress. Janell promotes community health & wellness, fitness and play while nourishing healthy family habits.
