Hi, I’m Janee and I’m LMHC-D in New York State and a LPC in Washington DC. I have over 10 years of experience working in the counseling field. I have worked in many settings including school based counseling/advocacy, child welfare, mental health clinics, state funded treatment programs and etc. My experience includes working with a large range of mental health concerns with varying severity. I have provided individual and group therapy. I have also been trained in Functional Family Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy; along with Motivational Interviewing. I will use interventions and techniques from these models when they fit to you and your needs.
