I am passionate about helping clients improve their relationships with themselves, families, and friends by enhancing their communication and increasing their emotional intelligence. I am committed to assisting clients in regaining a sense of meaning and purpose by redefining their values, beliefs, needs, and goals. Mutual trust, respect, consistency, empathy, and rapport allow the time spent exploring patterns, identifying problem areas, and developing newer and healthier ways to cope with everyday stressors and struggles.
As a black female therapist, I can easily connect and identify with clients who struggle with past traumatic experiences, issues of trust, and the pressure of daily life stressors. I provide a space where clients can be themselves and communicate in a way where they can feel understood.
I always go above and beyond to meet the needs of my clients while openly challenging clients and holding clients accountable. I want my clients to know that they are not alone in the journey of correcting and changing problems or difficulties that may arise. My goal is to instill hope and techniques to maintain a lasting positive impact on my client.
