Teens experience many stressors which can lead to various issues that impact the entire family and many can be treated in therapy.
My primary interest in working with clients holistically is to cultivate compassion, patience, and kindness toward themselves. When we learn to be true to ourselves, we are better able to give to others and appreciate the abundance in our lives. Human relationships are a source of pleasure and pain.
Therapy is built on an interpersonal relationship between a therapist and client. It is different from other relationships because the therapist is educated and trained in techniques that will help the client reduce suffering. I am able to help clients to understand and address their issues that led them in to seek support.
