About
I am a psychologist and a certified Jungian analyst. I have been in private practice since 1979, initially as an MFT, then as a psychologist starting in 1989. I became certified as a Jungian analyst in 2010 after seven years of training at the C.G. Jung Institute in San Francisco. It is my privilege to work with many different people, those coping with uncertainties and ambiguities of life transitions, those who suffer a range of painful symptoms such as anxiety, depression, grief, addictions, trauma, divorce, identity issues, spiritual crisis. I value depth, difference and relationship.
I was fortunate to discover my interest in psychology young. I earned four degrees and two licenses in psychology, BA, MA, MS, and PhD while developing my work as a therapist. In addition I became certified as a Jungian analyst after seven years of rigorous training in 2010.
My work is grounded in an integrative model of psyche that includes both personal history as well as that which pulls us each toward a deeply lived and integrated life. My focus is on the unique needs, depths and strengths of each person. "Fear is the cheapest room in the house. I would like to see you living in better conditions." Hafiz
