Life at times can be challenging. Life transitions, parenting, marriage, relationships or unanticipated life events such as loss of a loved one, an illness, divorce, or job loss can feel overwhelming and difficult to manage. These challenges can lead to feelings of depression, anxiety, isolation, self-doubt or result in unhealthy relationships or behaviors. Sometimes, a past or present trauma can start to feel disruptive or childhood issues can unknowingly impact the present. Therapy can help find a way to better cope with these challenges by learning how to manage overwhelming emotions and change negative beliefs that effect our relationships and well being.
Together, we work to build upon your strengths, gain insight into struggles, and identify the obstacles to feeling better. A sense of empowerment can develop helping to bring positive changes and better management of feelings and issues. Developing resiliency and moving toward a more balanced life with healthy relationships and behaviors is the goal.
