Are you worried about self-defeating tendencies? Why do you get in your own way in relationships, at work, in school, or in expressing your inspiration and creativity? We look together at the barriers to success that interfere with productivity and peace of mind. Because I co-authored the book, "Procrastination: Why You Do It; What To Do About It NOW," (and because it took me six years to complete my dissertation!) I like to help people overcome procrastination and achieve their goals.
My other specialities include: grief, trauma, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, depression, writing/editing, and supervision.
I created the first Procrastination Groups for students at UC Berkeley. I have continued to work with individuals in private practice and have conducted procrastination workshops. In addition, over the years I have worked with people who have many different kinds of problems, issues that interfere with confidence, productivity, optimism, and peace of mind.
My hope is for you to feel safe, listened to, and understood. I don't give homework or follow a prescribed set of interventions. I view inevitable stumbling blocks as guides that serve to help us untangle the mysteries of your difficulties. And I believe it's never too late.
