I specialize in cognitive-behavioral therapy and feel it is my privilege to help people overcome psychological roadblocks to their hopes and dreams. I have a compassionate, empowering approach with special training in treating substance abuse, eating disorders, survivors of sexual abuse, and family and couples counseling, as well as depression and anxiety issues. I also work with family members who have a loved one with an addiction problem, as it can be so difficult when your loved one does not seem ready to change.

I now have a therapy-dog-in-training! Her name is Rory and she is a 27-pound mixed breed, part spaniel, part Aussie. She has an extremely sweet temperament. Once she has completed and passed her Canine Good Citizen test she will be my full-time co-therapist.

With a sad heart I share that my "co-therapist" Zack passed away June 24, 2017. He was a furry presence who brought healing to many people. A look into his soulful eyes and one found unconditional love in its purest form. Thanks for your service, Zack. We all love and miss you.
