My ideal client would be anyone struggling with a mental health disorder. I enjoy working with people who struggle with depression and/or anxiety. Ideally, their goals would be to improve their overall functioning and quality of life. My ideal client would be able to put in the necessary work to accomplish their goals. My therapy style is authentic, empathetic, and validating. I believe in incorporating various treatment modalities that are based on the individual needs of my clients.
My goal as a therapist is to authentically provide an open-minded and non-judgmental environment in which my clients feel capable of navigating the healing process. As a therapist, I guide clients through challenges to empower them to understand their strengths, which can help them address problems that they are experiencing.
Humans do not heal in isolation; we need human connections to thrive. Therapy works because we are utilizing our intrinsic need to connect with others and release the heaviness of issues and problems in ways that make us feel heard, supported, and understood. My goal is to foster an environment that feels safe, comfortable, and open to connection.
