For over 20 years I have had the honor of working with people who feel stuck in their lives, whether it be their jobs, their relationships, or perhaps some part of their identity. It is my goal to create a safe and welcoming space to explore patterns of behavior that may not be serving their purpose anymore. Psychotherapy is a co-created experience between therapist and client. I enjoy working individually with teens and adults, providing them with support to be their most authentic, genuine selves. I also enjoy working with adults & couples exploring their sexuality and sexual lives. I'm licensed in NY, CT, MA, VT and ME.
I utilize an eclectic mix of approaches including psychoeducation, mindfulness, and CBT/DBT. I also have expertise in gender and sexuality identity development. I've supported many young people who have undergone a social/medical transition regarding their gender identity. I also consult with schools on how best to support gender expansive students.
As a Sexuality Educator I give workshops to teachers and parents, and provide private sexuality education classes for middle and high school students. I also have extensive experience working with children with ADHD and learning disabilities. I offer a free, 15-minute consultation to assess fit and appropriate course of treatment.
